Description
Since its inception in 1980, Jackson has been at the forefront of high-performance guitar design, catering to metal and hard rock virtuosos. The Jackson American Series Virtuoso continues this tradition, combining decades of innovation with player-focfeatures designed for speed and precision. Made in the USA at Jackson’s Corona facility, the Virtuoso features an alder body with a sleek contour for comfort during long performances. Whether you’re playing searing leads or intricate rhythms, this guitar offers exceptional playability and control.
Seymour Duncan Pickups for Versatile Tones
The American Series Virtuoso is equipped with a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 humbucker in the bridge position, delivering a hot-rodded, high-output tone with punchy low end and clear articulation. Paired with a Seymour Duncan ’59 SH-1N humbucker in the neck, this guitar provides a wide tonal range, from aggressive metal tones to smooth, warm leads. The 5-way switching allows you to explore various pickup combinations for enhanced flexibility across genres.
Caramelized Maple Neck for Stability and Speed
The five-piece caramelized maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods for added stability, ensuring rock-solid tuning and playability. The 12″16″ compound radius ebony fingerboard, with its smooth rolled edges, makes complex chording easy near the nut while providing a fast, comfortable surface for solos further up the neck. With 24 jumbo frets and Luminlay side dots for stage visibility, this guitar is built for speed, accuracy and reliability.
Designed for Shredders Who Demand Precision
The Virtuoso is crafted for guitarists who demand precision, power and speed. The Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo ensures reliable tuning stability even during the most aggressive playing styles. Gotoh MG-T locking tuners and Dunlop dual-locking strap buttons add further stability, making this guitar road-ready and reliable for both live performances and studio sessions.
