Description
The Reverend Crosscut is a noiseless solidbody guitar full of style and exceptional sounds. A pair of Railhammer Cleancut pickup provide the punch of P90s with a leaner tone and zero hum. Played clean, they’re full and jangly; dial in some overdrive to thicken things up. Tighten up the low end with the passive bass roll-off, or use it to re-voice the pickups. A treble bleed circuit preserves the high end even when lowering the volume
Reverend uses Korina for the Crosscut body, a tonewood found in vintage and boutique instruments. The roasted maple neck is heat treated to remove sugars, moisture, and impurities. The result is a light and stable neck that requires less seasonal adjustment, but boasts a rich vintage look. A Triple-Tree string tree eliminates G string buzz in the nut slot. Locking tuners offer exceptional tuning stability and super-fast string changes.
Flip the Crosscut around and you’ll see a handwritten serial number on the back of the headstock, and the initials of the Reverend tech who sets up, inspects and test each instrument. Put a Reverend Crosscut in your stable and discover the versatility of this modern, single-cut guitar.
